If an author wishes to create a realistic world for his or her stories, it’s important to pay attention to the essentials of worldbuilding. If done well, it creates a more believable, lived-in world that sucks the reader in. But, as Terry Mancour explores in this panel, there is a lot involved in worldbuilding. In fact, the effects of the world on the people you populate it with starts with geography and then continues out from there. This is a very informative talk for anyone getting read to create a world for their comics, books, or video games.

Eric was an avid comic reader in the late 1990s. He then took a hiatus from comic reading until 2011 when he dove head-first back into comics. Back in the 90s Eric only read Marvel comics although he loved Batman: The Animated Series. After a 2 year dalliance (2011-2013) with Marvel and DC, Eric now almost exclusively reads Image Comics.
