Baltimore Comic-Con is this weekend! 2-4 September! Let’s get to the last bit of info you might need if you’re still on the fence about coming.

American Mythology Productions will be there as a featured publisher. I hadn’t heard of them before, but it seems like they have some pretty neat nostalgia titles that they could potentially do some great stuff with: targate: Atlantis, The Pink Panther, The Three Stooges, Equilibrium, The Land That Time Forgot, Zombie-Proof,  and Werewolves vs. Dinosaurs.

As usual, they’ll have a costume contest – this year on Saturday at 3pm. In addition to the prizes I’ll be listing in just a moment, each winner gets the great prize of free admittance to next year’s Baltimore Comic-Con!

Boom! Studios always has a big presence at the show and this year they’ll have some exclusives: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #6 and Kong of Skull Island #1 as well as Jim Henson’s Labyrinth 30th Anniversary Special with a cover by Eric Powell, and Skybourne #1 by Frank Cho. Mr Cho will be there, as usual.

This year Valiant is bringing a lot of great goodies. For example, FREE complimentary copies of the Faith #1 Second Printing and the Generation Zero #1 Baltimore Comic-Con Exclusive Variant.

BE THERE! But if you can’t make it, you know that Comic POW! is the best place to get interviews, photos, and videos from the convention.

By Eric Mesa

Eric was an avid comic reader in the late 1990s. He then took a hiatus from comic reading until 2011 when he dove head-first back into comics. Back in the 90s Eric only read Marvel comics although he loved Batman: The Animated Series. After a 2 year dalliance (2011-2013) with Marvel and DC, Eric now almost exclusively reads Image Comics.
